Jared's Journey

Jared is rescued from a prison van and hid in a secluded valley by a recluse farmer who confronts all of Jared’s preconceived notions about both himself and life. Due to Jared’s rejection of his host, he finds himself abandoned by in charge of attending Chu’s farm. Later, Jared himself rescues a young victim of a gay bashing and takes him back to Chu’s farm. Gradually the two begin to question their isolation, but are unable to find their way out of the valley.
Eventually, after Jared and Rene open themselves to a loving relationship, Chu returns and helps them decipher the deeper mystical meaning of their existence.
