Andrew Lang (31 March 1844 – 20 July 1912) is well-known as a collector of British folk and fairy tales, but he was Victorian poet, novelist, academic and critic too. His poem had success, but he became famous published Andrew Lang's Fairy Books of Many Colors – series of twelve different colored collections of fairy tales books (1889-1910). It includes 437 tales from different countries and different cultures. 
The Story of Ciccu is a fairy tale from The Pink Fairy Book written by Andrew Lang in 1897. The main character is the youngest son of poor old man who's felt that he is dying, had bequeath to three sons a fig-tree and an old coverlet, a purse and a horn besides the house and tree. Is this gift useless or, like usual fairy tale story, it has some magic effects. And how it will change brothers live, especially, the youngest son Ciccu who is smart, attentive and resourceful.
