Charles Montgomery Skinner (1852-1907) was an American writer who published myths and legends collection books. His dream was to make American folklore heritage more glorious. Skinner worked in a wide range of genres, he worked as a journalist and a playwright. Lizon and Julienne loved each other. They lived in one area, which was near Detroit. She was a good girl, the daughter of a God-fearing farmer. While her lover, Lizon, was a dark, ill-favored wretch, who had come among the people nobody knew whence. There were a lot of gossip about them. Perhaps they were right in saying that it was witchcraft.
