A dog moos loudly in a park and then in a veterinarian's office. A day later an infant and an adult woman are heard moo-ing in front of the town supermarket. Soon almost all the children of Rover Corner are moo-ing. The mayor calls in disease control investigators from Atlanta. The chief investigator calls Washington to report to the President's advisor. He moos! Will the world soon be speechless? Is there nothing that be done to prevent the spread of newly-discovered Moo Disease? Is the human race about to moo-tate? This is the last story in the trilogy of canine-centric stories, which also include "The dog who sighed" and "The dog who cried, 'Woof'".
