Then when its Johns turn then Jack and I do the honors, but we must be very careful we should do one of our killings then we do two or three between each of our killings that way the law won't get near us.’
They went to the courts every weekday to follow the cases of the criminals and the first three weeks the crimes were dealt with. Then came a case of a robber who broke into an old woman’s house then tied her up and then he raped her three times and not satisfied with that he beat her to death.
This case got the lads interested and they followed it through until a month later when they found him not guilty for lack of evidence.
That night when the three men were going over the case Alan said. ‘Well this is the first one for us to deal with and this one won’t need an alibi so I want to take a vote on it and my vote is yes he must die; now how do you feel John.’
‘Oh yes I am for that he must go.’
Alan said. ‘Now it’s up to you Jack if you say no then we won't do it but now you must vote.’
Jack just said. ‘Aye let’s get it done.’
Then Alan said. ‘We must make him suffer like he did to that poor old lady, so we had better go down to the cellar and get it ready for that pig.’
They all went down into the dark cellar,
They had been at work down there they had chains to the walls and two tables with buckets at the end, there was all the tools that John had brought from his home.
The two tables in the center of the room had a three-inch thick leather strap in each corner this room was to be used only with on bad cases and this first case was a very bad case.
And they had made up their minds to make him suffer like the old lady; they would take no notice of his crying for mercy because he had not given any mercy to the old lady.
They had even gone to the trouble of lining the walls with thick sound proofing and the door was four inches think no sound would be heard outside of this room.’
After they were satisfied that they were ready to do their first job Alan said. ‘Right now we have a little bit of detective work to do, we must find out where he lives and we must find out what days he is on his own then when we have these details we can plan to take him.’
Alan looked at the other two men and said. ‘Now if you have no stomach for this job then you can back out now because once we have done one then you are in for the whole job, so once again I say are you ready.’
John said. ‘Don’t ask me again Alan or I will go out and do the job myself.’
Alan said. ‘Good then that leaves you Jack how do you feel.’
‘Well Alan you have a full house ok now lets get organized.’
Alan said well we can go upstairs and work things out it will be a lot more comfortable and we can have a drink and if you want a smoke.’
When they were sat down around the kitchen table Alan said. ‘Now I think we should take it in turns to watch this guy.
‘I’ll do the first shift I’ll park my car opposite his house and I will write down if he even farts, then maybe you Jack can follow me on, let me see now how long a shift should we do.’
