Administrative Intelligibility in an Educational Organization

Seminar paper from the year 2014 in the subject Pedagogy - School System, Educational and School Politics, grade: 'B', Atlantic International University (Social and Human Studies), course: Education, language: English, abstract: This course examines different educational policies, the contribution of technology in educational advancement, internal efficiency of an organization, development of policies and goals, management of human relations and behavior in an organization. Nonetheless, several administrative strategies will be scrutinized. Fayol & Babyegeya defined 'administration' as a process of determining how to serve the functions for which the organization is established. It is also noted that in the course of effecting, the administration is responsible with directing and controlling the activities of an educational organization so that those activities can achieve the objectives intended. While it is affirmed that the term administration is not used only in educational organizations, identified that administration is purposefully intended to facilitate the achievements of predetermined organizational goals. Organizational administration, therefore, is a mechanism which is used to organize the activities of an organization to achieve both its long and short term goals.

Mr. Wafula is a Kenyan with passion for both extracting and disseminating knowledge. Born in Nabulooli, a simple village in Bungoma county in Western Kenya, his accomplishments and achievements are centered in pedagogical discourses. However, his ambition is ultimately to foster change in education sectors through scientific approaches. Nonetheless, Wafula believes that change through knowledge is a fountain from models. With doctorate knowledge, his contribution of knowledge is globally weighed through several academic and professional publications that he has been able to publish with global professional publishers. These include Thesis & dissertations, professional papers and project papers presented on different issues with a global agenda in various workshops. Currently, he is a research consultant on curriculum change and educational innovation.
