Two of the council members, Mrs. Betty Drake, and Mrs. Jane Land didn't get the voting right as they had planned. A Mrs. Linda Brown, another council member, had succeeded to stop the tearing down of a historic building. Betty Drakes husband Donald Drake's construction company would have earned a lot of money, now that was lost because of Linda Brown. The two Betty and Jane tried to hire someone to beat up Linda Brown. Going down to a lower part of the city, they found a Burt Stone that for two hundred dollar was willing to beat up this Linda Brown. Happy about having the problem taken care of, the two ladies went back to work the following day. There, two police officers, and one woman police were waiting for them, and the two was arrested for hiring an undercover police-man to beat up another woman working at the same office. Donald Drake, Betty's husband was angry. He had lost the tear-down of an old property, and now he had to make do with fast-food while his wife was in jail. Donal together with Jack, Betty's brother, was planing for a way to harm Linda Brown. Jack since some time, knew some people that would take care of the problem, and the two for one thousand dollar hired two derelicts to harm Linda Brown. Those two, when they saw Linda's husband taking the dog out, entered the brown residence and severely beat up Linda Brown. It didn't take long for the law to get this two in to separate interrogation rooms. After eight hours of interrogation their stories started to fall apart. These two plus Donald Drake and Jack Jones would spend the rest of their life in prison.
