The Terrible Tune That Came to the Zoo is the story about a young girl, her ear-torturing song, and a rambunctious adventure around the zoo to find a new friend. The animals however, are not so amused by her singing. The rhythm of the narrative flows to create the emotions both the girl and animals are feeling in their off-beat encounters. No matter how the girl’s voice terrorizes the animals out of their stripes, spots or mane, the girl is never deterred from her goal. In the end she makes a friend that appreciates her tone-deaf song and together they walk home, singing as they go.
