The Strange Adventures of Little Maia (or Thumbelina) is a fairy tale from The Olive Fairy Book published by Andrew Lang in 1907. For a long time one woman lived along and was sad about it. One day a woman had gone into the forest and met a little woman who was a true witch. Witch helped her, and sold out a barley corn that was magical. In a tall red tulip, shorted up from the flower-pot, was a lovely inch high girl. What will happen with such a pretty little one and how will she save herself?  Will she find good friends and true love?
