Luisa had a bit of a problem, nothing too worryingly, kind of the opposite really, but one she didn't know how to get past. She was crushing on one of her friends. Not just crushing, crushing, but completely head over heels in love with her, and it was a problem because sometimes it seemed Jenny couldn't see it.
Other times it seemed she could, but didn't do anything about it, just smiled at Luisa and flirted back with her, though she never did more than that. Maybe if Luisa wasn't such a coward she would ask the other woman out, but no matter how much she wanted to there was always some excuse to hold back.
And then everything changed. Luisa was returning home from visiting the other woman at her flower shop when she was attacked by a wolf, a dark, dangerous wolf, that she soon figured wasn't normal. When she woke up, Jenny was there at the hospital, ready to bring Luisa into a world she could never have expected to exist.
