Derek and Margo Ackerman saved the life of Tomas Talbert whose Ship was destroyed by an alien craft.  Tomas is from a parallel universe on a mission to alter his world by changing events in this world.  "As on Earth, so it is in Parallel," becomes the them of those rescue missions.  The couple is recruited to become part of the Team making it happen.

On a visit to Tomas' Parallel, which is several centuries ahead of our world, they return rejuvenated and ready for the Missions. They were trained and implanted with abilities which make them effective Team members.

They are given advanced equipment that includes a Ship and protective Suits that are on the drawing board of scientists in this world, but not yet available. Bart, an advanced computer is able to pilot the Ship through wormholes and space warps to enable the Team to turn a European vacation into a working one.  Their message is repeated often: "Violence begets violence; peace begets peace.

With Judith, Tomas' wife, the Team turns a European vacation into a working one.

Parallel Mission-The Journey Begins is the first book in the Parallel Missions series.  It is approximatley 300 pages in length.  The second book in the series, Parallel Challenges will be available soon.
