When I drove into Old Mystique Village, I must have entered a time warp. Is time really an illusion as Will says, or am I stepping off the deep end here?
I couldn't help wondering where and how I would fit in with all this strangeness. Beauty and mystery. Remoteness and fantasy.
My senses awakened, as if he and I were alone in the world. The earthy fragrance of the surrounding woods engulfed us. His electric touch sent tingles throughout my entire body. I could hear nothing but his sexy English voice reassuring me that everything was okay. There was a warm aura about him, sensuous yet mysterious. But he radiated a comforting strength and confidence that kept me from fleeing.
Then I remembered my current goal was to despise all men, even this enigmatic Superman standing before me, embracing me with his British magnetism.
"Love me the same way you want to be loved," he said in a low voice.
