Kaathi, the village Healer, lives in a future, young, developing society after an apocalypse. She establishes the Relationship Sessions based upon the philosophy of equality, justice and love in several villages. Angry men rooted in traditional male domination are determined to make her life miserable and make the sessions fail. Is her joyful nature and spiritual insights enough to eliminate their prejudices? Kaathi, Ashlee and Sharika embark on a journey to other villages. During the trip, a male companion is crushed by a python. Can Sharika’s unselfish action save his life? While visiting one of the villages, the prince falls in love with Sharika and proposes. Will the temptation of being a princess make her abandon the man she has fallen in love with back home? Ashlee returns to her home village where she was abducted as a child and made a slave. She is confounded by the men’s prejudices and rage. Two men traveling with her are brutally attacked and killed by a mob. Can Kaathi’s enduring love avert a war between the villages? Kaathi’s joyful nature envisions a world filled with peace and is compelled to construct a peace treaty. She visits all the known villages to have it ratified. Concern arises whether Ashlee’s people have made strides to eliminate injustice and inequality toward women and expanded their ability to love. Can Kaathi’s all-encompassing love transform the world to one of compassion, love and joy?
