Larry Bath, a twenty seven year-old account manager at Trex Enterprises, committed family man and loyal friend grew up in the city of Detroit, Michigan. Raised by his grandmother, Larry always heard of the crime, racism and injustice happening to the minorities in the city, but had never experienced an unfair society first hand. His tow best friends, Chris black, and Jeff, Puerto Rican are always having debates about the struggle of African Americans opposed to other races and politics. Their ten year friendship had made Larry, Jeff and Chris like brothers. They knew everything about each other. However, their decade long friendship was about to take an unexpected turn when Larry gets arrested for armed robbery and attempted murder. After losing his job, his fiancée and his rights threatened to be removed from seeing his daughter, Larry is determined to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Larry discovers the betrayal, racism and scandal involved in his arrest and the reality of a black man having another chance to gain his freedom and redeem his character is much more challenging than he thought.
