William Ralston Shedden-Ralston (1828-1889) was a British folklorist and writer who became famous as a translator from Russia. He was in Russia a number of times where he made friends with major Russian writers of those times such as Turgenev and Afanasyev.

But one day Moujik was luck to meet St. Nicholas itself and was warned to sell all his harvest to the person he didn't wish to worship. It was hard enough to predict what Moujik was going to overcome in order to save his crop.
