The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third of the four crime novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. Was published originally serialised in The Strand Magazine from August 1901 to April 1902, it is set largely on Dartmoor in Devon in England's West Country and tells the story of an attempted murder inspired by the legend of a fearsome, diabolical hound of supernatural origin. Sherlock Holmes and his companion Dr. Watson investigate the case.

This edition is not a translation at all but a complete re-write of the novel with portions added and omitted and adapted to learn Spanish under Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), Level A1

El sabueso de los Baskerville es la tercera de las cuatro novelas negras escritas por Sir Arthur Conan Doyle que protagonizadas por el detective Sherlock Holmes. Fue publicada originalmente por entregas en The Strand Magazine de agosto 1901-abril 1902, esta ambientada en los páramos de Dartmoor, Devon y cuenta la historia de un intento de asesinato inspirado en la leyenda de un perro temible, diabólico de origen sobrenatural. Sherlock Holmes y su compañero el doctor Watson investigan el caso.
