“WHAT WAS THAT?” asked Catherine. Her chest heaved as she drew a ragged breath. It was as though the oxygen had been sucked from the room and was only just being released back a bit at a time. Her head swam with a thousand strange images of Anthony and her together. Memories that couldn’t be real.

“I… I don’t know.” Anthony reached up to stroke her cheek. “We know each other, don’t we? It’s not possible, but I have these memories of you. I can see you and me together, but it’s strange, like it happened a long time ago. We’re wearing old fashioned clothing and speaking another language. It can’t be real, can it?”
