Jenna levitated to a height of about three feet from her bed. Her hair, arms, and legs dangled. Jenna was still for about a minute, then and then her limp body began to turn counterclockwise. Her daughter turned slowly at first then sped up. Unable to even open her mouth, Susan’s tears of terror and helplessness began to run down her cheeks.

Then her spinning stopped. Jenna, still unconscious, stopped at an angle from Susan’s view. Though her feet were now pointed towards Susan, she could still see Jenna’s shoulders and head. There was a subtle dimming of the lights at play in Jenna’s room that continued until only her daughter was within view. Her surroundings became darker, even if Faith’s room was illuminated sufficiently. Susan blinked her eyes rapidly when she noticed that out of one darkened corner of the room, a figure flickered into existence....
