臁疮是指发生在小腿下部内外侧的慢性溃疡。俗称“老烂脚”。臁疮的发生大多因长期从事站立工作或担负重物，以致下肢脉络淤滞不畅，加之湿热下迫，气滞血凝而成；或因局部皮肤破伤，如搔破、虫咬、烫伤、湿疹等的诱发，导致局部湿热内蕴，气血凝滞所致。对本病的治疗采用清热利湿，祛淤通络。
