肛痈是指肛门直肠周围间隙发生的急慢性化脓性感染而形成的脓肿。本病的发病原因，多因过食醇酒、厚味，以致湿浊蕴盛，下注大肠，蕴阻肛门；或因肺脾两虚，湿热乘虚下注而成。在治疗上，对实证宜清热解毒；虚证宜养阴清热。肛痈属西医学肛门周围痈疽范畴。
