Have you ever thought about starting a webcomic? If the answer to that question is "yes", then 'Your First Webcomic' might come in handy. It is a re-edited collection of the top seven articles on my blog about webcomic writing and design.
Although this guide is text-only, it will give you a lot of pointers about getting started, quality vs quantity, characters, backgrounds, comedy, B&W vs. Colour art and panel layout.
(If anyone is curious, the comic pages on the cover are taken from "Damania" , a long-running webcomic of mine which I still add to occasionally when I'm between other creative projects. Although it wasn't my first webcomic, it is probably my favourite one of my webcomics.)
