Young Lives on the Line was written to dispel the myth that at-risk children and youth who are involved in the youth justice system are 'bad kids'. It tells the stories of the author and six young people who were all at-risk children and what was done to keep them in the community. The book looks at problems and behaviours with a new perspective i.e. when you address the root causes as opposed to addressing the symptoms that are seen, there is much success.
