Moneyland is a fairytale to explain to young children what money is and how it is used and circulated in a sophisticated, worldwide financial system. It personifies each element in the circulatory system of money to allow the child to understand quickly and easily. Two young children, Stefan and his older sister, Gaby, are magically transformed into the numbers “2” and “0” on an American twenty-dollar bill and travel with it through the international financial system. In the process, they meet other instruments of payment and a variety of banks. They are introduced to the many elements that make up and guide our world of finance.
