Wings and Claws

In a faraway land called Yuman, in a small village called Darmin, Tara Keene lives in peace and harmony. She is in love with a young, handsome villager named Erin Cla. Their lives consist of taking care of the farms they live on and enjoying the company of other creatures that live in an immense forest that covers their land. Tara has a reputation of being a sorceress because she touched a great golden rock that fell from the sky. Only Tara and Erin know that she uses the power of the stone to create miracles. Very much in love, they have grown farther apart because Erin has accepted more adult responsibilities after his father died. Their tranquil existence is threatened one day as Tara and her two sisters Lita and Serona tend the sheep in the forest. The Batavians, a fierce, warlike race attacks and their lives change forever.
Her magical, golden stone and her ability to control its energy has attracted the attention of Emperor Jaron Len, the cruel, evil leader of the bat creatures. Emperor Len’s army has conducted sporadic attacks against Yuman and nearby lands for many years. The temptation of capturing Tara Keene and the golden stone prompts him to make an all-out attack on the kingdoms.
In the forest, joined by trolls and dwarves, Tara fights a delaying tactic against the winged bats that ride fearsome winged black horses. She sends a messenger to warn Erin Cla that they have been attacked. Erin organizes an army to resist the bats.
Villard Kan, a self-appointed troll king leads an army of trolls and dwarves against the bats north of Tara’s location. He is soon wounded and dies. General Anon Kli, a troll officer takes command and attempts to hold the bats while other armies are being formed. Kli sends Captain Yor Yez to assist Tara and get her to safety. They all know that if Emperor Len gets his hands on Tara and the stone, it is all over.
