Winds of Change

Jade Talbott, JT for short, left her home on the Big Island of Hawaii after she and her best friend Bob were brutally attacked and left for dead by Andrew Lee. The justice system had failed her and she hoped, with a new start in Washington, one day she would have the justice she wanted by taking Andrew’s life with her own hands. She began writing as a way to release the pain and through her work she found a following. Soon she was a household name with her books vying for the #1 spot. This would have satisfied most people but not JT, Andrew was still alive somewhere and she wanted him dead. Her PI finds him but before she can get to where they are and finally culminate years of waiting, Andrew flees. Revenge is a very heavy burden to carry and at that moment she realized she had to give up once and for all trying to find Andrew if she wanted any shot at having a normal life. But the cosmic jesters were not done with her yet. Andrew walks back into her life and makes his presence known. He feels she should pay for all the hell he’d been through since the trial but Jade disagrees; it’s his turn to pay, and this time, revenge would be sweet.
