It is 1871 and Rosie Landerback decides to become a Mail Order Bride.
Rosie Landerback lives in Kentucky with her abusive husband, Allan Arley. She hates her marriage, but she does not see any alternative in her life than to keep going. But then her husband Allan Arley disappears after a fight in the middle of the night and his body is found dead in the river.
