As U.S. Citizens, we have the greatest freedoms of any group of people in the world. They allow our minds to dream big dreams and to be creative with our thinking. We can feel like a child on the beach on the first day of summer vacation or like a high school football team that surges onto the playing field for the first game of the season. We are free to be all that we can be, or all that we want to be. Like all governments in history, there are people in our government who would like to take away our freedoms so that they can fulfill their dreams of wealth and power over our lives. They divide us into groups and encourage us to not trust, or even to hate each other. They encourage us to fight among ourselves so that maybe we will not notice that they are taking away our freedoms while pretending to be helping us. All this is happening because almost no one in America understands the value of our freedoms and how the Constitution protects those freedoms, even today. No other book today explains our freedoms, our Constitution, and the powers that we have over our own lives in clear language that almost any citizen can read and understand without needing a dictionary in his hand. Nothing available before this book explains our freedoms and our Constitution so that people can clearly see how they affect their lives and their personal American dreams. There is nothing that gives people the real life stories and the explanations to understand how and why our government is taking away our freedoms and how we can easily take them back. Article Six says: “This Constitution,…, shall be the supreme Law of the Land;” Our U.S. Constitution protects our freedoms because it is a book of laws that are the supreme law of our land. It is superior to any federal law, any State law, any foreign law, and any decision made by a judge in any court, even the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Our freedoms and the protection of those freedoms have been the envy of the world for more than two centuries. Our freedoms are the source of our happiness. They allow us and encourage us to be productive with our lives. Like fine steel in a bridge, they make it possible for us to stand proud and tall. Government control over our lives is like rust on the steel in a bridge. With time it weakens us until we tumble in a heap on the ground, unable to build our American dream. Everything in this book is supported by direct quotes from our Constitution. The supreme law of our land and the Declaration of Independence that came before it are written in simple and clear language that most people can understand. No one inside government or outside government has the power to ignore or contradict anything written in our Constitution. This book is written to raise no passions except the love of our freedoms and our Constitution that guarantees them to us. There are no new ideas in this book, just old ideas that have stood the test of time and can be applied to today’s new situations. The Golden Rule, honest work, thrift, responsibility for your own life, and respect for the rights of others have been around since before there were printing presses. These are the ideas that formed the basis for our Constitution and our freedoms. Using simple and clear language that most high school students can understand, this book answers every question about your constitutional freedoms, State powers, and federal government powers. It answers simple questions like: • Why should I care about my constitutional freedoms? • What freedoms do I have and what limits are there on my freedoms? • What powers do governments have over my freedoms and my life? • What are the three questions that can individually tell you when a federal law or a federal judicial decision has violated the Constitution? • How has government taken away some of my freedoms? • How can I take back my freedoms? • How can I find out exactly what constitutional powers our federal government has? • Is there really such a thing as American Exceptionalism? The answers to all these questions are already written in the U.S. Constitution. With the help of this book, you can find the answers and know that you have found the correct answers. Our federal government wants us to believe three things about our U.S. Constitution. 1. It grants powers over the lives of U.S. Citizens to the federal government. 2. We the People cannot stop government from infringing on our freedoms. 3. Government is a source of wealth. This book proves that all three statements are FALSE! This book covers several other subjects and questions that are important to all U.S. Citizens. Wealth: • What is it? • Where does it come from? • Why can government never produce any of it? • Why is money not wealth? Inflation: • What is it? • What causes it? • How does it effect our lives? Law: • What is it? • How do we recognize one? • Is it important that our Constitution is the supreme law of the land? Government spending: • What is the total cost to citizens? • What does it do to our lives? • Why do poor people get hurt first and most by it? Activism: How all three branches of the federal government practice it to take away our freedoms and violate our Constitution. Criticism of our freedoms and our Constitution: Why all are invalid. Democracy: The fact that we are not a pure democracy prevents discrimination and oppression of minorities. Powers: Between We The People, the three branches of the federal government, and State government; who has power over who? Other things you will find in this book: • Six ways to show that all elected and appointed members of the federal government are simply employees of We The People. • How and why does government seduce away our freedoms. • What is the only measure needed to judge any government style? • Why is education the most important tool in preserving our freedoms? • Wisdom: o What is it? o Where is the best place to get it?
