In my practice as a psychologist, I have witnessed how essential communication is in interpersonal relationships. Many family difficulties are the result of a breakdown in communication between husband and wife or parents and children. These problems can lead to further difficulties, including breaches in trust. Healthy families are those that are able to communicate their thoughts and feelings to each other openly and genuinely. The questions in this book are designed to tap into our beliefs, thoughts, and feelings. Some questions are meant to delve into emotional issues while others were intended to stir up old memories that give our current life perspective and meaning. Furthermore, some questions are more philosophical in nature, intended to give us perspective into our thoughts and feelings concerning events and circumstances in the world around us. The purpose of this book is to help you get to know someone a little better (including yourself), to find the commonalities between you and your friends and family, and to develop more intimate relationships with those we care about. There are 100 sets of Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How questions in this book to get you started.
