this is a story about A young man, who has been plagued by nightmares his entire life, discovers that his dreams create the evil in the world. Here is the Letter from the editor: "Dear Reader or Readers, The content of this novel is absolutely unfiltered and remains like a nugget of raw ore mined from mind. Though it has been polished, the words remain virtually unchanged. If the reader wishes a piece of literature that has been tailored, or could be considered in any way careful, subtle, or resistant, it would be unwise to proceed. This novel is resistance to resistance. It was never the intent that the author, Mr. Looney, write for a specific genre or for a specific age group. I had the pleasure of editing this curious piece of literature as well as working directly with the author and have been given the opportunity to inform the readers that unlike most conventional stories, this one in particular seems to carefully and carelessly chop and dissect elements of genre, toss them into a blender, and hit “Write”. If I had to give one piece of advice to the reader or readers in regards to this piece, I would say, “Do not dismiss this story so quickly if you are struck by it. Remain analytical and persevere. This kind of story is harder to write and share than it is to understand, sometimes.” It is fantasy, it is hard boiled pulp fiction, it is horror, and it is so real sometimes that it may cause the reader to cringe so hard that they uncontrollably lose their temper. Because this piece is so raw and unfiltered, I believe that it asks for careful and merciful reading because it addresses many things that are covered up amongst present society; there are subjects and feelings amongst us that are so natural (that is to say, of nature) and consume an emotional response as close to unfathomable as one can human can imagine. These subjects are socially sanitized and left as fibers of truth. I find that this piece of literature takes one individual and force-feeds them with horrifying reality, the kinds of reality that we get fibers of throughout media and personal experience. There is more intention in this novel than one might initially understand. This was the case for me but I came to understand more from the author upon discussions of personal initial responses."
