Drawing from an encounter I had with the Lord several years ago together with the wealth of progressive revelation that the Lord has afforded me in my walk with Him, I present this book to the body of Christ with a prayer that by virtue of these words an unquenchable fire will be ignited by God in our hearts; a fire that will drive us to win the world for Jesus; a fire that will cause us to burn the bridges behind us and say 'All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I freely give!' That fire awaits you in the pages of this book.
What is fire? Fire is zeal fuelled by love. Fire is passion fuelled by affection. Fire is that indescribable something that makes a timid Peter rise up on the day of Pentecost to Preach a Christ that he once denied and proclaim a gospel that he was once ashamed of. What is fire? Fire is that urgency in our souls to reach humanity with the love of Christ. It is the engulfing of our entire beings in God's vision until we see through his eyes, speak through his lips and touch through his hands.
It may be that you like many have experienced this fire in your life before. You have felt the heat of the everlasting burnings and experienced the warmth of a heart acquainted with the communion of the Father but somewhere along the way, the fire departed and you were left with the question 'Where did the fire go?' You are not alone! The Lord asked me to write this book specifically because He had you in mind.
