Tears of joy trickled down her face as she reflected on all that had brought her to this place. Making her way to Cedar Grove, Liddy felt that she was finally beginning to put the pain of the past behind her. She was making her home here now, surrounded by beautiful people who had not questioned her past. Within the pages of her journal were the truths that had haunted her for so long. She had been able to finally leave them there and in so doing felt a deep inner peace; as if she were being drawn out of a dark tunnel.
Just months before she had been disturbed by the words of the young woman who mused as to who were those big money men from down in Atlanta? Why were they asking questions about the Jamison property and what did that have to do with her?
Now, she saw some of what God was doing in her life; allowing her to see the needs of others instead of only her pain. Remembering the scripture from the book of Proverbs where there is no vision the people perishshe rejoiced in that she once again had vision. Out of deep hurt can come great victory and great joy and she was going to rejoice and embrace every victory. Perhaps she was even now being used by God to be an instrument of His love to help someone else.
