We Hold These Truths

The central purpose of this book is to explore the fundamental principles of Catholic doctrine in light of contemporary political, moral, and social life in the United States. The first four chapters are primarily concerned with moral principles and historical background. The last three chapters focus on the application of these principles to concrete political and social issues.
