My name is J. S. Gerlach, and I am nothing. I am just a blue-collar, diverse intellect with a very busy mind. Unfortunately, one of my darkest hours came alive. I was deep in the woods, walking on a trail, on some land I used to own. It was a starry night and the critters and crickets and things were alive with music. I finally got to the top of a steep hill. My soul decided to scream bloody murder. At that exact moment, when I realized that no one could hear my cry; my whole body shut down; and my whole being went crashing to the ground. I took a few seconds to catch my breath. When I finally did, it was this inhuman howl; and before my vocal chords could kick in; tears were running down my cheeks. Then I screamed out loud, Why God? I took another breathe and then I screamed again, Why me! And right after that; I was grabbing rocks, dirt, grass, and proceeded to whip around in every direction. So then, I tried to stand up; but it felt like God himself was pushed me a little on the head, and then I quietly lay on my back. I was looking at the luminaries in heaven. When I saw the most beautiful shooting star, and it came from the North. And then went straight East. It was the brightest; with what seem like an infinite starry trail as bright as could be. It was a warm feeling like when your reading or writing by your favorite window, and you feel the warmth of the sunshine throughout your whole spine. Sorry, it took so long God; and your Son and my brother, Lord Jesus from Nazareth. Amen.
