Small business owners can use all the help we can get! We start our business with a passion or skill and jump into the marketplace. Convinced we will be the next big startup and darling of Wall Street, we soon we find out there is not enough day left at the end of the to-do list!

As the owner of two businesses as well as being an author, volunteer, wife and mother, I understand the demands on your time. In working with Entrepreneurs, I have found that after being in business for a time, you may start to burn out and eventually begin to dread working with your clients and going into the office each day. This disconnectedness and lack of celebration can cause Entrepreneurs to catch the “shiny squirrel” syndrome (ok I know its “shiny object” and/or “squirrel”, but didn’t you just picture a squirrel decked out in tin foil?). We lose focus and start looking for that feeling again by starting other businesses, bigger projects or just simply “phoning it in’’. Can you relate?

The purpose of this book is to give the small business owner, simple, easy to incorporate, and effective ideas to connect with your clients, make a contribution and celebrate within your business. In short, a boost of what I call Vitamin C3: Connect, Contribute, Celebrate, that can help eliminate “shiny squirrel” syndrome.

My goal is to help people see that we are all connected at the very basest of levels (cells/DNA/stardust/beings on the same planet); to encourage contributing to one another, and focus on time to celebrate even the smallest victories. If I can do that with a handful of business owners, I have had a life well lived.

So why read this book? To help me achieve my life’s mission of course! Well, maybe there is something in it for you too. See how it impacts your bottom line and your overall joy!
