“Vision A.I.R. for Conscience’s Sake”—Accountability to God, Integrity in Christ, and the spiritual Responsibility to seek God and His righteousness that my conscience can bear witness in the Spirit—is a personal manuscript expressing the wisdom and discernment revealed to me, and its spiritual content is acquired from the perspective of a God-given vision. Three Simple Acts: The Vision, coupled with purified and justified A.I.R. (Accountability to God, Integrity in Christ and spiritual Responsibility to seek God and His righteousness) unfolds in three simple acts: Setting the Stage, entering into the Valley of the Vision, and using the Metaphor of Afflictions to awaken your conscience to the spiritual landscape of the vision—a vision that is inexplicably tied to the higher calling of being a character witness for Christ and a servant leader in formation. For that reason, as it pertains to your spiritual growth, it will bear some semblance to the personal and private struggles as the men of God, such as Moses, Joseph, Caleb and a Job, who either wrestled with or were challenged by the things that were spiritually manifesting in and around their knowledge of God’s vision, Word, and promises. This is a vision that essentially set a faithful task before me: Go! therefore, and make disciples … teaching them all that I have commanded you (Matthew 28:19–20) But before you go to witness, you must do what will seem to be the most difficult thing for you to do, and that is to manifest your thoughts by writing out the vision. It is imperative that you watch, pray, and be corrected during the “though it tarries, wait for it” period of time. God made the conscience so that it supports the integrity of the heart and the constitution of the mind, and therefore holds the two accountable. The conscience, with a regenerated heart and faith in Christ, provides us with the faculty to discern what is good and pleasing and perfect to the will of God. The conscience gives us the power to steer gracefully away from a hardened heart, a weakened conscience, or a failing faith. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. Only in ignorance can the conscience hold a lie and by not submitting to the righteousness of God seek to establish one’s own righteousness. Vision A.I.R. for Conscience’s Sake simply means that your conscience is awakened to bear witness in the Spirit and provide you with knowledgeable grace on your journey.
