Valery Bulat Artist-Iconographer

   This book is about goals, plans, and the destiny of the talented, well-known Ukrainian artist Valery Bulat, who lived and worked at the difficult time in which his country was going through.  This book is about the development and the formation of an artist under the influence of Russian culture and art.  It was a hectic time of danger, when the artist could ask only God about what was right or wrong, what to do, and how to live.  At that time, Valery was speaking directly to God when he worked under the dome of the Pokrovsky Cathedral in Zaporozhye, during the creation of his frescoes and icons on the walls.
