Yes, I am a Muslim woman who observes the 'hijab', but no, I don't actually wear the 'face veil'. Nonetheless, I must admit, it is as if my whole life, my innermost thoughts and feelings and struggles, the depths of my joys and sorrows, my experiences about love and life and faith, have been 'veiled' - until now.

I am both scared, yet excited, this moment, as I share the poetic musings of my spirit since my teenage years until my adulthood.
I pray in some way you can relate to my experiences; I pray my words move your soul.

NOTE: This is the Second Edition, in which I've removed a couple of poems that I felt were a bit out of place, but where I've included some additional poems written in more recent times.
