The preparation God ordains for His prophets must be a proper, formal education. This is not something the prophet can learn off the Internet, or “catch” because Sister Sally happens to be discussing it.
The prophet’s preparation is done in a school or company of prophets. It is a formalized, structured, and specific education. The school of the prophets is something that people should take very seriously. It is a place of teaching, training and discipline. This form of education begins to show the prophets-in-training their strengths as well as their weaknesses. Prophets must be able to recognize their weaknesses and build those same weaknesses into strengths. Even if you have not quite mastered transforming your weaknesses into strengths, recognizing your weakness is imperative! You must be on guard and avoid at all cost anything that would cause that weak place in you to be wounded. Otherwise it could cause you to spiral downhill. We have to watch all these different things.
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
Formal education is a professional way of schooling. It helps educate you for every scenario so you are able to grab hold of the schooling of God, to know what God says, and understand that He means what He says.
