Brittany Hoffman has literally gone through Hell. She was kidnapped, raped and tortured for five long months. As she's finally come to grips with not making it out of this prison alive, her friends decide to become heroes. With Matt Rhodes unconscious and imprisoned with her, Brittany has no other choice but to survive long enough to get Matt to safety.
When the rescue teams finally recover the two of them, Brittany wants nothing more than to go back into hiding. They promise her that Chris Kaplan is dead, but Brittany doesn't believe any of them. She constantly feels him lurking in the shadows, in her dreams and always on the edge of her sanity. The constant torture she endured has done more damage to her body, mind and spirit than anyone could ever begin to understand. No one is treating her the same, because they all know what she did to survive. Brittany is embarrassed and constantly terrified. Can she handle life after Hell or will her survival be short lived?
