About the Author
Herb K. began his recovery in February of 1984. In 1988, as a result of working the steps as contained in the Big Book, he experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Since then he has been very involved in carrying the AA message through sponsorship, facilitating workshops, and leading retreats. In 2004, he authored “Twelve-Step Guide to Using the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book.” Herb is married, has three adult children, seven grandchildren, and lives in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Herb’s personal journey includes 7 years in the seminary, a graduate education in psychology, and a 40 year career in human resources consulting from which he retired in November 2006.
