“Never judge a book by its cover….” Same turned the case with Claude. His childhood days were as smooth as butter. The only twist and turn came, when his father, the former Army Major, the father of the revolving character-CLAUDE, lost his life and power due to certain misconceptions. The Rwandan Genocide of 1994 turned the table 360 degree. The genocide acted as the U turn of Claude’s life. Claude’s entire family, including his father, mother and grandmother were brutally stabbed. Loosing his near and dear ones, turned him into a figure as hard as rock. Even though he and his three siblings survived the hammer stroke, but the stroke felt even harder when he was separated away from them for his entire life.
In the due course they moved to army secured zone and he willingly took a new path along with his Godfather-Jali. Intending to achieve the best for his people and get them a better place and life to live in. In the due course he started getting even tougher and started loosing the feelings within him.
The rock could realize the other side of his mindset, only when he met the Army Chief’s daughter, who was supposed to be the Subject of his mission. Meeting her he could realize the emotions, which were still alive somewhere deep inside him. Struggling between the emotional and responsible situations, he would find a way out to achieve what he had desired since childhood.
He would make ways to meet his siblings as well but the actual turn would come at the end when there would be an optional situation. He would have to choose from within, but that too the choices were lop-sided. He could either live or die, with a lop-sided choice of dying as he couldn’t survive. Let’s see what Claude does and which way does he make his presence felt….
The story would mark the ways he takes and gradually the way he moves into for the sake of his love and his responsibility as well. He proves himself as the best son, best mate and the best person, who would never betray any one nor would he run away from his responsibilities. The story would showcase the ways, he managed the same. The most emotional and helpless moment would come when meeting both his family and love; he would have to count the number of seconds he survived with them. Even though willing to survive, he would be left with no other option other than to die.
