It was the summer of 1990, and the Watters family had hit a crossroads in their lives. They would also long for the warm, maritime climate that had supported their year-round outdoor activities. It would be difficult adjusting to the hot summers and the cold winters Ohio had to offer. The comforts they were leaving behind certainly made their move unsettling.
