Tracking Jubal Crank: Adventures of a Confederate POW

Jubal Crank, a Confederate POW, manages to escape from a prisoner train wreck at Shohola, Pennsylvania. He meets up with a woman who is a member of the Delaware tribe. She helps him to escape by leading him south along an old Indian trail.

Always a day behind, Abner Tasker, a Union Provost Marshall, doggedly tracks Jubal Crank from the train wreck, across the wilderness of Pennsylvania.
