Tommy

Young love is encountered in high school by two very talented young people, Tommy and Janice,  and endures  through four years at Ohio State University.  Unexpected circumstances result in the young man accepting a USAF scholarship and he is  sucessful resulting in commissioning and selection for flight school. Janice is driven equally, smart as a whip and must put her career on hold supporting Tommy in the year long flight school.  They graduate in lock step and honeymoon in Fl awaiting flight school. entrance.  Flight School starts and they take it head on together.  They encounter and defeat many changes in their planning, but remain solid.  They meet many other talented young men and the fight is on for the No. 1 position and gaining the $60 million fighter aircraft that Tommy is thirsting for after understanding and loving the challenges and satisfaction of aviation.  Others are not so successful as the  pressures mount.  Other couples/young people can't handle the stress.  Tommy and Janice must face the same stress-together- in spite of emergencies and unforeseen developments along with disasterous interpersonal develoments.
