To Stop the Rain, or Not

It was still a month or more to the hurricane season. However, the rain came down so heavily the regular drainage system was unable to do its work. Our parking area was covered with at least a foot of rainwater. There was a lake where my car was parked. Then my phone gave its usual musical sound. It was my girlfriend Alice Blanch. She had been driving to my apartment, so we could have lunch together. "Neil, I'm stuck by your grocery store. Please Neil, come and help me. I'm less than a mile away." As she has helped me so many times before, I decided to walk there, and see what I could do. As soon as I came outside, the water mover away, not a drop touched me. And, when I put my foot down the water on the parking area moved away. "So, she has stopped the rain from touching me." Well, her witch power was known to a Nick Bright, and we got some big trouble from him, Until some friends of mine changed his attitude.
