Diane Dallas’s guilt about the death of a homeless child had her returning to her Fox home town in Chicago, where she must convince everyone that she is not a crazy woman, but only a misunderstood lawyer of the ball breaking variety

But a certain Santa keeps standing in her way, he won’t just confess that he abducted 12 year old Tiffany, so Diane can stop stalking him, and chase her dreams of marrying Rick Gordon the billionaire CEO of TECKIE

And it isn’t just the Santa. Everyone in Fox is trying to mess with Diane’s head-

Even Amelia, her middle school aged daughter who keeps sneaking out at night; something about a movement called young feminists/freaks against teenage suicide

There is also the matter of her parents- Sophie and Jack, no matter how hard Diane tries, she can’t keep them apart

Oh, and Cathy Symons, local busy body who will stop at nothing to humble Diane’s Armani-clad shoulders: Cathy thinks she won high school, Diane thinks it was a tie

Then there is Malcolm Dallas, Diane’s Z list Hollywood celebrity ex-husband, who is suing for sole custody of Amelia. He makes Diane google stuffs like ‘how to commit a stainless and guiltless murder.’

Last is the homeless, they keep calling Diane home, no matter how fast she runs from them

But when Amelia and her friends are held hostage, Diane discovers that being crazy, can have its merit- especially when dealing with fearless children and a gun wielding Santa
