Lex Kerr, an eighteen years old person that had a difficult time accepting the right order of things. Having a discussion with Detective Rick Laurence, he told the detective. "What ever happens in this rat-hole of a town, you can't blame me for this caper." he said in a voice that showed total disrespect for the police. "I wasn't in town that day, was out of the state for that entire week. Should be easy for you to check up." "Well Lex I would just like to ask you if you know of any boys around that have a base-ball pat. Mr. and Mrs. Wright that was killed with a base-ball bat, had a lot of money, but nothing was taken. Only this brutal murder of two elderly people that didn't do harm to anyone." "So, they had money? Well before I left this state, I heard John, and Billy was asking the other kids for cash." "Thank you Lex for the information. You are free to go wherever you want, and as I said before, thanks for the info'. The detective told six officers to check out Rex, John, and Billy. Check also if Lex had some work done to his car before he left for Georgia. The six officers, divided the work so each two of the checked out one of the boys. When the tw, John and Billy was found clear, Laurence decided to have Lex Kerr arrested, and kept in a holding cell until he could be put in front of the judge. However, when the two officers that came and spoke to Lex, he got worried and decided to drive north. But, first he needed money, so when his parents said they didn't have any, he hit both of them with his bat. Then he thought, detective Laurence said the old shit had money stacked away, that cash should be mine, he thought, and drove to their house. When he arrived he went in through the backdoor, and after spending a few hours, he found the money. Now Lex felt much better, I'll get myself another set of wheels, new clothing's, have a shave and a haircut. The I should be clear to live in another town. He thought, but it doesn't always work out that way, does it?
