Contained within this book is a collection of poems-- well, maybe not poems in the true form of a poem. But, they were composed as an expression of my thoughts and feeling—self therapy you might say. Upon reflection, they proved to be the catalyst that allowed the healing of my heart.
Composing and penning these poems began with the loss of my husband. Perhaps they will provide inspiration and hope for that loss you are feeling, whatever it may be.

They are arranged beginning with the reflection on early, happy times and progressed to the acceptance of the grief and the struggle to pass through it. Included are poems of a new hope as the realization that life goes on, and that life is worth living-- to be open to possibilities.
During my passage, I relied strongly on my faith in God, the support of my family, and the encouragement of my dearest friends. Never underestimate the effect a support system can have in your life.
