Timmy the Fish is about a small perch bullied by his older peers at school. When Timmy starts to swim at the back of the school for fear of being bullied again, he befriends a Largemouth Bass named Brutus who shares his secret to overcoming the bullies without resorting to violence.

The author and illustrator were victims of relentless bullying growing up. This book held dear to their hearts and felt it was necessary to get this positive message to every child. Unfortunately, the author, Sean never saw his dream of being a published author come true. In 2000, he was killed in a tragic car accident at the young age of 25. With the family's permission, the illustrator then took it upon herself to make his dream a reality and self-published Timmy the Fish in 2007 and again in 2012.
