Barney Thicke is the overweight, chain-smoking, coffee addicted CFO of a large public company. He's achieved this level of success despite lacking any particular competence except for the uncanny abilities to avoid controversy and absorb abuse. Winston Feally is a rival executive and a major shareholder; he is also compulsively corrupt. Barney's protoge and loyal friend, Hank Pike is convinced that Winston is corrupt and is bent on proving it. Barney, cowered and diminished by the relentless badgering of Howard LeBlanc, the Company's CEO, wants peace among his peers. But war, a cold, relentless, corporate, guerilla war, is what results. As Hank gets closer to incriminating Winston, Winston plots to force Hank's ouster. Poor old Barney is presented with the ultimate choice: resign in disgrace or watch his friend be sacked. Courage and loyalty were never his strong suits. How will he choose?
